“I never wanted to be average. I wanted to ‘be somebody’.” With BeautiControl, Nancy Savely’s dreams have been fulfilled. Not only has she achieved more than she ever thought, but she has enjoyed being able to help many people ‘be somebody’.

Before she joined BeautiControl, Nancy was a home economics teacher and was looking for something to better herself. It was that desire for personal development and growth that drew her to a BeautiControl ad in Glamour magazine. She made a phone call to find out more information and after she was introduced to the products she says, “I never looked better”. From that point on, Nancy was sold.

Soon after she began her BeautiControl career, Nancy moved to Kansas City. To help her stay connected, her Director would call once a week and Nancy also loved reading the Achiever magazine. She says, “I wanted the lifestyle I saw in the Achiever – the travel, cars and recognition. I also didn’t want to disappoint my Director when she called to check on me.” These two things actually became Nancy’s motivation and she made a decision to get serious about her business. Her persistence paid off as she achieved Director just 13 months after she began with BeautiControl.

Nancy says the difference in her lifestyle now is “night and day” compared to her life before BeautiControl. She went from being in debt to not having to check the bank account before she makes a purchase. She and her husband have been able to pay for private education for their daughter and have traveled around the world on 18 different trips – all expenses paid by BeautiControl. She says there is great peace in not having to think, “Can I afford this?”

However, Nancy says, “Above all I have gained the most from helping other women succeed. When I began to mentor other women, that’s when things really changed.” She adds, with a sparkle in her eye, “If you help enough people get what they want, then you will get what you want.”

Nancy says that her success isn’t anything special. When asked what was her greatest achievement, she smiles and says, “Just staying with it. With perseverance and commitment and a little boldness, you can achieve anything you want. BeautiControl is not just about living life, but creating a life worth living.”
