Maria Krehel made the decision to join BeautiControl for “something fun to do.” She told her husband it was a way to earn extra money to decorate their home. She held enough parties to pay back her investment and to have fun, but not enough to decorate!

That all changed when she attended one of BeautiControl’s national conferences, Celebration. There, Maria caught a glimpse of what her future could hold if she worked the business in all three areas that BeautiControl teaches: book, sell and recruit. After that realization, her husband was transferred and they moved to a new town.

Maria continued to work a full-time job, but now she was commuting two hours a day and only earning $900 a month. She took a chance on herself and started booking more parties consistently in order to sell $2,500 each month and recruit. That paid off when Maria realized she had enough Consultants on her team to begin her Director-in-Qualification to become a Director.

That same day, Maria found out they were expecting their first child! At first she questioned whether she should put her business on hold until life was not so complicated, but she decided to go for it. “I’m so glad I did – I became a Director even with life happening,” she says.

The following year, they got more exciting news — twins were on the way, and with that, more news — her husband was being transferred again. Because BeautiControl is a business that offers flexibility and control over one’s future, Maria was able to work around these changes. With “life happening” again, she became an Executive Director while working from her bed awaiting the arrival of the twins with an 18-month-old baby and a move!

Maria has been driving a luxury automobile for over 16 years.
